Ask about our other advanced fibers: Kevlar, Spectra, Zylon, Silicone Carbide and Quartz. 15.06.2007 >> Spheretex Products Composites Canada is proud to announce that we are stocking distributors of Spheretex products. sphere.tex products combine high-modulus fibers (mainly glass fiber, but also carbon and aramid fibers) with extremely light microspheres. This allows the manufacture of composite materials with superior strength characteristics and a very low specific gravity at the same time. sphere.tex products can be used as both core materials for sandwich-type laminates which – in accordance with classic sandwich technology – can be covered with pure (not volumised) fiber/resin top layers on both outer surfaces of the composite laminates, but volumised full laminates can also be manufactured if low weight and high flexural strength are prime considerations. The products in all cases are laminates with unsurpassed homogeneity, which cannot be achieved with classic sandwich laminates using wood, foam material or honeycomb. In addition to this homogeneity, the sphere.tex products possess outstanding physical-technical characteristics in terms of impact resistance, flexural strength, shear strength, interface adhesion between the various laminate layers, etc. 01.06.2007 >> Infusion Resins We now have full access to Interplastic`s line of resins. It can be sandblasted, routed, carved, sanded, or machined. It will not crack, twist or curl after long exterior exposure, making it the ideal replacement for wood signs. The Sprayable Multi-Bag Kit is used to create a reusable silicone, rubber vacuum bag. It’s a low viscosity paste and is designed to use for reinforcing materials such as the RVB Mesh 1 which will provide extra strength and durability.
